Blueberry Sauce

Yields: 2 ½ cups
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 Tablespoon cornstarch
  • 3 Tablespoons water
  • 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 cups Maine blueberries

Instructions: 

  1. Mix the sugar, salt, cornstarch, water, and lemon juice in a non-aluminum saucepan.
  2. Stir in the blueberries and bring to a boil.
  3. Boil just 1 or 2 minutes – the liquid should be clear.
